1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how VialTrust, Florida, USA ("VialTrust," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information through vialtrust.com (the "Site") and in the course of quoting and selling research products to laboratories and research buyers.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us: your name, work email, institution or company, role, phone number (optional), the products and quantities you ask about, and anything you write in your message. When you order: billing and shipping details, purchase order numbers and eligibility documentation.
• Access confirmation. When you confirm the research-use statements to enter the Site, that confirmation is saved in your own browser's local storage. It is not sent to us.
• Technical information. Our web server records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request. We record the IP address of form submissions to prevent spam and abuse.
• Cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

3. How we use information

• to respond to quote requests and questions, and to prepare quotes, orders, invoices and shipments;
• to confirm buyer eligibility and enforce our research-use-only requirements and Terms of Sale & Use;
• to keep records required for tax, accounting and legal purposes;
• to protect the Site and our business from spam, fraud and misuse; and
• to send you information about products or documents you ask for. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it, and you can opt out at any time.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that help us run the business (for example web hosting, email delivery, payment processing and shipping carriers), who may use it only to provide their services to us;
• with the independent laboratories we use, but only lot and sample information, never your personal details;
• when required by law, legal process or a government request, or to report suspected misuse of research products; and
• in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, subject to this policy.

5. Third-party services

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. Links to independent laboratories and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies.

6. Retention and security

We keep quote requests and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain business records, and order records for as long as required for tax and legal purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law, by emailing hello@vialtrust.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require. You can clear the saved access confirmation at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

8. Age limit

The Site and our products are intended only for adults who are qualified research buyers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and the Site asks visitors to confirm they are at least 21.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
